What to Pack in the Gargano

Tommaso, the only one from our group that comes from Puglia in southern Italy, wrote about what he would take to his small town on the Gargano Penninsula in our Meme about What to Pack.

"My city was founded in the medieval period by Federick II. It is situated in northern Puglia in the Gargano National Park."

What to Pack
- a swimsuit: my town has a very beautiful coast.

- some liqueur: Liqueur is necessary because the food is fantastic.

- some walking boots: In the Gargano, the landscape is quite varied. There are many paths in the woods.

- a guitar: In my town, any reason is a good one to celebrate!

- a handkerchief: there is a saying in my town--you need to have a handkerchief with you because the people are so funny that they will make you laugh until you cry!
